Jessica is a graduate of the Science program at the University of New Brunswick. After completing her B.Sc she moved to Alberta in 2015 to continue her education in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine at MacEwan University to become a Registered Acupuncturist (ATCMANS).
While studying in Edmonton Jessica started working in administration at a busy multidisclipinary health clinic. She began working as both an administrator and acupuncturist and found that she truly loved doing both.
Jessica is originally from New Brunswick, and her love for the beautiful east coast recently brought her back to settle down in Nov Scotia.
Jessica has aways had a passion to help and care for others while making everyone feel safe and welcome and working in this line of healthcare allows her to do just that.
While raising my four wonderful children, I ran a successful boarding and grooming business for over 18 years. At that time, I decided to make a change, and in 2020, I took a medical transcription course, which led me to apply to The Disc Clinic and being hired for the front desk position. I now work at The Disc Clinic part time and transcribe medical reports. I am an avid reader, and strongly believe in continuing education at any age and never being too old to make changes!
