Dr. Marc Baker
Chiropractic Rehabilitation Specialist

After completing his Bachelor of Science degree at Mount Allison University, Dr. Baker went on to New York Chiropractic College and completed his Chiropractic Doctorate in 2002. He also completed a Post Doctoral Rehabilitation Specialty and is a Fellow of the Chiropractic College of Physical and Occupational Rehabilitation. In addition, Dr. Baker has completed 300 hours in Acupuncture Training at McMaster Medical School.
Dr. Baker is one of two Chiropractors actively certified in Cox Flexion Distraction in Nova Scotia and was certified in 2007.
Dr. Baker worked with the Canadian Forces at CFB Stadacona as the staff Chiropractor from 2005-2011. He then decided to open The Disc Clinic in Musquodoboit Harbour where he is the Clinical Director and staff Chiropractor.
Dr. Baker opened The Disc Clinic because of his professional interest and personal experience with disc problems of the spine. He helps to manage all spinal conditions, as well as issues with other joints in the body including ankles, knees, hips, wrists, elbows and shoulders. Doctor Bakers' conservative, gentle approach to chiropractic care has attracted patients from all over the Maritime Provinces.
Canadian Certified Pedorthist
Nancy is a graduate of the Kinesiology program at Dalhousie University. After working as a Kinesiologist for several years she started her training to become a Pedorthist. In 2008, after completing a lengthy apprenticeship, Nancy successfully completed the College of Pedorthics of Canada exams and received the designation of Canadian Certified Pedorthist.
In addition to providing pedorthic services at The Disc Clinic, Nancy is the Clinic Manager.
Nancy also actively volunteers within her profession and held a Director position on the Board of Directors for the Pedorthic Association of Canada from 2010 - 2013.
Debbie started in Musquodoboit Harbour, but moved to the Dartmouth clinic when it opened in 2015. Here, as she did in the Harbour, enjoys the atmosphere created by patients and staff alike.
Always up for a challenge, she completed her Bachelors of Business Administration in 2011, but decided afterward that she wanted to take a different path and turned her studies to gerontology. Debbie is currently working on her Masters in Family Studies and Gerontology at Mount Saint Vincent University.
When not at work, she can be found in the kitchen trying a new recipe, curled up with a cup of tea and a book or spending time with her husband and their goofy dachshunds. Because she is also a GOT fan this happened:

Registered Massage Therapist
Carina Smith is a 2014 Graduate of ITC Northumberland College here in Halifax. While in school she took extra courses in myofascial therapies, pregnancy treatment and reflexology.
She also has an interest in infant and child massage.
Carina's schooling taught her how to manage many different conditions and the stages of healing associated with various injuries. Her most recent interest and continuing education has consisted of certification involving the Tempero-Mandibular joints (TMJ).
She is a proficient and qualified massage therapist and looks forward to working with the team at The Disc Clinic.

Emma DeWitt graduated from Dalhousie
University School of Physiotherapy in 2005. She has since completed
post-graduate courses in manual and manipulative therapies, acupuncture and
active isolated stretching. Since graduation Emma has worked in private practice
clinics in Bridgewater and Dartmouth Nova Scotia. She is excited to join the
team at The Disc Clinic.

with clients. I am passionate about educating clients and collaborating in a
‘team’ approach to produce the best outcome possible.”
Besides chasing around her two young children, Emma is
a regular runner, participating in several half and full marathons and a ultra
marathon over the past few years.
Dr. Chelsea Warner

Dr. Chelsea Warner graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. She also completed a certificate in Disability Management before going onto CMCC in Toronto to become a chiropractor. During that time, she became certified in Active Release Techniques, Mental Health First Aid and Acupuncture from the McMaster Medical School. Dr. Chelsea also has experience working with sports teams and has a special interest in neck pain, headaches, TMJ disorders and upper limb conditions. Coming from an active background, she has always had an interest in movement, health and rehabilitation, but it was her experience as a patient that motivated her to become a chiropractor. She is passionate about helping people and getting them back to optimal functioning. Outside of the clinic, you can find her enjoying the outdoors with the dog or watching the game.
Registered Massage Therapist
Jenn has been an RMT since 2015, graduating from ITC Northumberland College. She spent 3 years working in Charlottetown before moving back to Dartmouth in the fall of 2018. She has special interest in sports based therapy and fascial release, but can help you with all your aches and pains.
Working with numerous sports teams in PEI during her time on the island, as well as being an athlete herself as a teen sparked her interest in working with athletes. On top of being an RMT, Jenn is also a certified group fitness and cycle instructor who can help keep you active or get you moving again.
When she's not working you can catch Jenn out hiking, at the gym teaching or working out herself, or cooking a delicious meal!
